Business Details

Logitech G is a major player in the flight simulation hardware market, largely known for acquiring and continuing the legacy of the Saitek brand. Their product line represents the "standard" for mid-range flight simulation hardware, offering accessible equipment for both General Aviation and Space Flight enthusiasts.

Their catalog includes the iconic X52 and X56 HOTAS (Hands On Throttle-And-Stick) systems, which are staples for combat and space sim pilots. For civil aviation, they produce the Logitech G Flight Yoke System and Rudder Pedals. A key strength of the Logitech ecosystem is its modularity; users can expand their setup with standalone add-ons like the Flight Switch Panel, Radio Panel, and the Instrument Panel (FIP), allowing for a customizable home cockpit experience.

  • Great Radio Panel but limitations keeps it from 5 stars

    ,

*********** The Logitech (Saitek) Radio Panel is the only product I own from this company, and it's a solid piece of hardware for a legacy offering. It would easily earn a 5-star rating if it supported 8.33 kHz spacing. *********** One limitation of the panel is that it does not allow you to dial in frequencies like 118.125; it only displays 118.12, meaning the last decimal place is unavailable. However, you can check your radio display in the cockpit of the aircraft to confirm that the third digit was entered. In X-Plane, there's a workaround that uses a period (".") to represent the third digit, but this method does not work in Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS). There is a hack available using SPAD.neXT that allows you to shift the decimal one place to the left, enabling three digits after the dot. The trade-off is that you lose the first digit, which is always '1' anyway. *********** If Logitech were to release an updated panel, which actually would be a new and separate product, that supports 8.33 kHz spacing, it would truly earn 5 stars.
